About Laura
I currently live on the border of
Leicestershire and Warwickshire and have been teaching
yoga since 2006.
I teach a variety of yoga classes and my students range
from 6 months to 80 years old (and maybe older)! As you
can tell, I firmly believe there's a style of yoga for
everyone.
Yoga has been part of my life for over 10 years now,
bringing numerous benefits, and it is a real pleasure
to have the chance to share that with others. I am currently studying for my
500-hour British Wheel of Yoga Diploma so that I can deepen my knowledge of
yoga, and of teaching itself.
In addition to my yoga teaching qualifications, I hold a
number of Anatomy and
Fitness qualifications, and also a BSc
Honours degree in Music. I hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate,
covering babies, children and adults, and have taken
additional Child Protection Training with the
Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board (WSCB).
I run my own Yoga classes, in addition to running
classes for local schools, colleges, children's centres, leisure centres,
companies, organisations, health and
fitness events and community projects.
I am also qualified as a
hoopdance
instructor,
fitness
instructor and
complementary
therapist, working with both adults and
children.
In addition to being a British Wheel of Yoga (BWY)
teacher, I am a member of the Register of Exercise
Professionals (REPs) and the Federation of Holistic
Therapists (FHT).
I have teaching insurance and a full CRB-check.
